Thallo in Space Coast Bride and Groom Magazine
Space Coast Bride and Groom features a Thallo wedding for the 5th time!
The latest issue of Space Coast Bride and Groom features a Thallo wedding that we are very proud of! We featured photos of the January 3rd, 2009 wedding of Meredith and Adam in a blog posting from January, which you can find here. Also, look for a gallery on our new site (launching this week!) that showcases some of the Concept Photography's shots from the January 3rd soiree!
Unfortunately, the editors forgot to credit us for providing the flowers (and most of the descriptions of the floral details) in the article. We are *sure* this was an honest mistake on behalf of the writer and magazine staff! Nonetheless, we are glad that our floral designs stand out amongst the other featured weddings in the issue.

Mother's Day
Thallo's Early Spring Weddings
*Ahhh* (that was a sigh of relief). We love working with new and interesting color palettes. This wedding allowed us to do just that. The bride and groom had a clear vision of what they wanted and some very unique ideas to work off of. Thallo took those things and ran! It was a pleasure working on such a beautiful wedding, with such a beautiful couple, both inside and out! Congratulations Laura and Casey!
The main floral ingredients included yelloween lilies, fuschia stock, oncidium orchids, miniature oranges and key limes.
More (better quality) photos to come.

Pink Peonies - The Beginning of our Spring Wedding Season
Spring has arrived at our Melbourne studio and Thallo couldn't be more pleased.
Here are some shots from one of our latest weddings. At Thallo, we have a deep affinity for all colors of the floral spectrum. Although we don't choose favorites, pink always makes us smile. Look below to see why...
The bridesmaids carried simple nosegays featuring Attache roses, sweetpeas and Dutch tulips in pink and a green/pink variegated.
If we could have bottled the smell of these bouquets we would have... sweet, spicy and fresh!
We have had 5 weddings in the past 4 weeks, so stay tuned for more updates.

Thallo Wedding Flowers - Birch and Berry
Thallo had a busy December, but our most complex event was this wedding, held 2 days after Christmas at The Tides in east Central Florida. The couple, residents of Seattle, wished to recreate the aesthetic of the Northwest with their florals and decor. That said, Thallo decided upon a palette of deep, cool jewel tones and natural elements including birch bark and black river rock. Seasonal flowers within the palette included amaryllis, anenomes (flown in from Holland), an array of roses and deep, Volken delphinium.
This wedding exudes the attention to detail that has come to be known as Thallo's signature. The birch bark was used as containers for low centerpieces overflowing with roses, lisianthus, anenomes and textural elements like mossy rocks and thistle. Other tables held a collection of three glass vases, trimmed with a birch bark "charm" tied with satin, slate-blue ribbon (their signature color). The sweetheart table was covered with smooth black river rock, sections of sandblasted driftwood and dozens of sparkling candles.
A special thanks to Karry from Uniquely Yours Wedding Specialist who has recently become a blogger and Heather from Forever Fotos for photographing our work!
Bringing in the New Year
Thallo welcomed the New Year with a studio full of beautiful wedding flowers in pleasant shades of white and ivory. Dendrobian orchids, oriental lilies and gardenias were focal flowers and transformed the Eau Gallie Yacht Club into a chic, modern floral setting.
A special thank-you to Karry from Uniquely Yours Wedding Specialists for coordinating the wedding seamlessly and Heather Synder with Forever Fotos for capturing our florals impeccably with her camera.
