Thallo Wedding Flowers - Birch and Berry

HS122708_2172

Thallo had a busy December, but our most complex event was this wedding, held 2 days after Christmas at The Tides in east Central Florida. The couple, residents of Seattle, wished to recreate the aesthetic of the Northwest with their florals and decor. That said, Thallo decided upon a palette of deep, cool jewel tones and natural elements including birch bark and black river rock. Seasonal flowers within the palette included amaryllis, anenomes (flown in from Holland), an array of roses and deep, Volken delphinium.

This wedding exudes the attention to detail that has come to be known as Thallo's signature. The birch bark was used as containers for low centerpieces overflowing with roses, lisianthus, anenomes and textural elements like mossy rocks and thistle. Other tables held a collection of three glass vases, trimmed with a birch bark "charm" tied with satin, slate-blue ribbon (their signature color). The sweetheart table was covered with smooth black river rock, sections of sandblasted driftwood and dozens of sparkling candles.

A special thanks to Karry from Uniquely Yours Wedding Specialist who has recently become a blogger and Heather from Forever Fotos for photographing our work!

Bringing in the New Year

Thallo welcomed the New Year with a studio full of beautiful wedding flowers in pleasant shades of white and ivory. Dendrobian orchids, oriental lilies and gardenias were focal flowers and transformed the Eau Gallie Yacht Club into a chic, modern floral setting.

A special thank-you to Karry from Uniquely Yours Wedding Specialists for coordinating the wedding seamlessly and Heather Synder with Forever Fotos for capturing our florals impeccably with her camera.
