A Midsummer Wedding

Thallo's latest Midsummer Wedding featured fresh, festive florals in shades of raspberry, pink, and orange with subtle accents of yellow and claret. Lush raspberry hydrangea, standard and miniature roses in shades ranging from pink to deep orange, gloriosa lilies, cymbidium orchids and asters contributed to a vibrant, warm floral palette.

The bride carried a take on the classic mixed garden bouquet. Standard pink roses, orange miniature roses and miniature green cymbidium orchids sat in a nest of lush raspberry colored hydrangea. Gloriosa lilies, freesia and hypericum berries added movement and texture. This hand-tied clutch was arranged in an organic, flowing shape, and was delicately trimmed in luxe ivory ribbon and crystal embellishments to coordinate with her gown.

The bride's single attendant carried a tasteful bouquet featuring raspberry hydrangea, orange dahlias, deep pink scabiosa and roses.  The handle was trimmed in luxe ribbon a featured pink embellishments.

The reception centerpieces were organic and lush, made on tall iron standards. To bring color to the table level, lush sections of fresh garland were added with perfect blooms designed tableside. Votive cups covered in raspberry art paper added sparkle. Floral ingredients included hydrangea, roses, dahlias, orchids and asters.

The reception venue's main architectural feature was their grand staircase. For this celebration, its banister was trimmed as grandly with fresh plumosia, ruscus and springeri. Nosegays of flowers used throughout the celebration were placed intermittently and a custom-made floral wreath comprised of hydrangea and roses hung from the highest point.

The bride and groom opted for cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. Thallo provided the cupcake stand, designed a fresh floral cake top and individual blossoms for each cupcake. Sweet!

Guests were greeted by a festive escort card table featuring a tall, lush arrangement in a iron pedestal container. Luxe pink chiffon ribbon added color to the table top.

A custom designed monogram sign welcomed guests at the church.

Our best wishes to the bride and groom...
